Dr. Daniel Nelson, DDS
Dr. Nelson always had a desire to return to Guthrie County. He created Springbrook Family Dentistry to focus on matters most: you. He is passionate about providing quality dental care in a calm, comfortable, and clean environment. Dr. Nelson practices conservative dentistry that emphasizes prevention. This means he is honest and only recommends the treatment he would recommend for his own family.
Dr. Nelson and our team are continually learning about modern dentistry to exceed the standard of care. We only used the highest quality of materials and do not cut corners. In addition to being a skilled general dentist, Dr. Nelson is a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr. Nelson went on to attend The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinic and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. In dental school, his classmates elected him as Secretary of the Iowa American Student Dental Association (IASDA). Dr. Nelson is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (IAGD) and Iowa Dental Association (IDA).
Daffnie, RDA
Dental Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator
Daffnie graduated from Panora-Linden in 1986 and moved to Atlanta where she resided and worked as a Dental Assistant for 25 years. After raising 3 beautiful children Daffnie moved back to the local area. She is excited to have returned home and now focuses her time on her 2 beautiful grandchildren. She loves all aspects of dentistry, but truly enjoys Oral Surgery and Implants, where she can use her 25 years of experience as a Dental Assistant. Daffnie is passionate about family, health, and exceptional dental care and enjoys working at Springbrook Family Dentistry.
Anna
Dental Assistant Trainee and Patient Care Coordinator
Anna is a graduate from Panorama schools in 2018. She was homeschooled, but participated in many sports/activities with Panorama High School. Anna is our Patient Care Coordinator and is training to become a Dental Assistant. She worked as a daycare teacher for several years prior to joining the Springbrook Family Dentistry team. Anna enjoys learning about dentistry and working with fun, supportive, and knowledgeable team. She likes being able to make patients feel more comfortable and welcome when they are in the office. When Anna isn't working she enjoys traveling, golfing, reading, boating, going for walks, and spending time with her family, friends, and boyfriend.
Ollie
Greeter
Ollie is our office manager that will greet you at the door for your appointment. He is a goldendoodle therapy dog and hypoallergenic – so don’t worry if you have any allergies. Ollie’s favorite thing is to wait by the door for his next patient. Outside of the office, Ollie enjoys running around the farm or going for long walks.
